| so lately i can't really complain. a number of things are on the positive side, i'll name a few: softball team has been doing well this season. i've been around some great company lately sharing some awesome times. the summer weather fills the streets with dresses . formula one has been very exciting and unpredictable. i heard rossi's back on top of motogp. our creative team will be getting a new designer. and lastly, i snagged a new toy.

| do kids still get chicken pox? for a moment i came to believe that they were done away with by vaccinations and modern medicine. just like how kids can have their temperature checked in the ear instead of the bung. anyways, i just flickr searched "chicken pox" and got some results. man do they look wicked. i wish i had pics of when i had it.

| nicole scherzinger, of the pussycat dolls, is the latest acquaintance of F1 star lewis hamilton. that's cool. but the whole weekend i've been wondering who's the winner of the relationship? lewis now has a pretty and pretty famous american popstar (of which i cannot name any of her songs). nicole has a british formula one racing phenom, who's probably an icon everywhere but in the united states and is poised to become the youngest/richest athlete in the world. maybe my question is moot and i should be happy for them. perhaps she was the lucky charm that got him the fortunate tire puncture early in the monaco gp.
ps. i want to be lewis hamilton for halloween this year. that boy can drive. go mclaren!

i think everyone agrees that the bay to breakers needs more porto-johns. then again, there wouldn't been a picture of an elvis lineup. but then again, if i were the owner of that fence, i'd be pissed. no pun. nontheless, i enjoyed the b2b. its the ultimate people watching scene. you've got nudists, superheros, frat boys, bright spandex and more. after the walk, i had two bowls of the number one pho. seriously business because i was seriously hungry. man handled it yo.

i saw the one-day-only live broadcast of This American Life. i've heard ira glass' broadcasts several times and it didn't take long for me to become a fan. there's something about his cadence of delivery and the music that comes into his story telling that makes something very interesting about mundane american life. he worked with two cd turntables - one for music and one for interview sound bytes. the way he switches from sound bytes to music, and even to his own live interjections, is a bit of public radio masterpiece.
